Location: Belarus is in Eastern Europe, east of Poland
Geographical Features: Belarus is a low-lying, generally flat country, in which Mount Dzyarzhynskaya (346 m) is the highest point. Rivers (the Dnieper, the Dvina, the Neman and the Pripyat), lakes, forests and marsh leave the visitor with the impression of ages gone by. Its wetlands are listed on the Ramsar List of Wetlands of International Importance.
