A New Nature Reserve and More Hotel News From Aruba

Aruba’s hotel and resort scene is more alluring than ever. Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort is headed by a celebrated environmentalist, who ensures the resort walks the walk of best sustainability practices. It’s LEED Gold certified and the first and only Carbon Neutral resort in the Caribbean that enforces sustainable best practices and also engages in community environmental and socially conscious initiatives, including protecting sea turtle nests on the beach, animal rights on the island, spaying and neutering stray dogs and cats, and supports a local donkey sanctuary and a move to eliminate plastics from Aruba.

The preserve is a typical Aruban ecosystem with any number of the 280 bird species and other local flora and fauna. This gifted land will offer residents and visitors a quiet, natural place to walk, jog or sit amongst Aruba’s indigenous trees, plant life, and wildlife.

The famous luxury resort on Aruba’s acclaimed Palm Beach has revealed its most recent re-imagination, with new, island-inspired designed in all guestrooms and suites.

Locally-inspired design motifs and color waves feature in the resort’s new textiles and textures, including custom artwork of indigenous succulents and aloe plants typical of the arid destination, and the kind of luxe touches Ritz-Carlton guests expect.
 
The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba has also introduced new culinary experiences for guests to enjoy. At Divi Sushi Bar and Lounge, guests can experience an exclusive tasting flight of Caribbean rums.
